I’ve been running Valiani cutting machines for print packaging for several years now, and as you know, Valiani is part of the visual communication community and the packaging industry.
This unpleasant situation is making our business activity in Europe more and more complicated. But apart from the business, as a father, as a husband, and as a person, I belong in a civilized world. I strongly reject the idea of the war and this unexpected conflict in Ukraine.
I put myself in my friends’ and colleagues’ shoes, and I really hope to meet all my Ukrainian friends at the upcoming events for print and packaging.
I cannot accept the idea of a war in the 21st century. Ukrainians are really fantastic people, and I’ve been there more than once. I have a lot of friends there, and I express my warm affection to all of them and to all the Ukrainian country.
I am close to all of you in these difficult times, and I wish this conflict finishes very soon. As the Valiani company, we decided to collect some help and food for the Ukrainian community. It’s a little thing, but we don’t want to stand still. On the contrary, we want to act as much as we can to help our friends in Ukraine.
Ukraine is part of Europe, like Italy, and we are all in the common destiny. We are 100% against the conflict, and being part of the Print Against War community makes us proud. I’m close to you, and please be strong. The light at the end of the tunnel is close. A big hug to all of you, and I hope to see you soon. Ciao.
